JOB REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Master's in forestry or plant production with a strong background (BSc) in Forestry.
• Evidence of remarkable progress in a PhD in Forestry or Environmental Science will be an added advantage
• 3 years teaching experience at a tertiary institution, or 5 years professional experience in the relevant field.
• At least 1 publication in an accredited peer-reviewed Journal will be an added advantage

DUTIES

• The successful applicant will be required to teach Forestry modules at all levels in the specified areas.
• Advise and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in a variety of academic endeavors fields of interest include Silviculture, Forest Policy, Agroforestry, Forest Health and Forest Management, Logging, and roads.
