Job Requirements
Master’s in Physics
At least 3 years teaching experience at a tertiary institution, or 5 years professional experience in the relevant field.
Publications in peer-reviewed and/or non-peer-reviewed journals will be a strong recommendation
Duties:
Lecturing Electronics, Control Systems Engineering related subjects such as Process control, Process instrumentation, Control systems, Signal processing at undergraduate and Honours level.
Participate in the development of subject material.
Contribution to teaching programmes and their administration.
Assisting with departmental administration and curriculum, programme development, and Programme quality assurance.
Assessment and academic development.
Developing innovative teaching and learning methods and materials.
Promotion of community participation, linkages, outreach, and industry liaison.
Participating in department research activities.
Supervise Honours and Master's research projects in the department.
Seek out and engage in collaborative research partnerships in other departments at the University or externally with other universities and research institutions.
Assist in the organisation of field trips for students as well as workshops for staff in the department.
