JOB REQUIREMENTS 

Professor

• A PhD in Agricultural Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• At least 10 years teaching experience in tertiary institution or seven (07) years professional experience in the relevant field.
• At least 15 articles published in accredited journals, chapters in a book and book publication.
• Evidence of supervision of completed four Master or Doctoral students.
• Registration as a Candidate/Professional with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and/or other statutory and vocational bodies for foreign nationals is an added advantage.

Associate Professor

• A PhD in Agricultural Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
• At least 10 years teaching experience in tertiary institution or seven (07) years professional experience in the relevant field.
• At least 10 articles published in accredited journals, chapters in a book and book publication.
• Evidence of supervision of completed four Master or Doctoral students.
• Registration as a Candidate/Professional with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and/or other statutory and vocational bodies for foreign nationals is an added advantage.

Senior Lecturer:

• A PhD in Agricultural Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline
• At least 5 years teaching experience at tertiary institution, or seven (07) year professional experience in the relevant field
• At least 5 publications in accredited, peer reviewed   journals
• Evidence of supervision of 5 postgraduate students at Honours level 
• Registration as a Candidate/Professional with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and/or other statutory and vocational bodies for foreign nationals is an added advantage.
